Cafe Imperial Prague
When we first walked in, I was amazed by the architecture, especially by the pillars and decoration of the restaurant. It was nothing I have seen before, nor was it something you would

see in Taiwan. The pillars were covered with unique tiles instead of being carved that made is so magical. It took me a while to take it all in before we were seated at our table.
Everything on the menu looked amazing and it was hard to choose from it. Being in the Czech Republic, we wanted to try new things to experience more of their culture and cuisines, so everything we ordered was something we wanted to try but also be able to enjoy. In the restaurant, we tried many dishes like the pork jowl and rabbit meat. The pork jowl was so soft and tender. It melted in my mouth and it was nothing like the pork, especially because of the cut that I normally have. Another meat we had was rabbit meat. At first, when I
saw there was rabbit meat on the menu, I was scared to try it, but I put the image of a cute bunny aside, and put it in my mouth, where it was delicious! It tasted buttery and was softer than chicken.

I don’t know why my family ordered the eggplants, but they were amazing! The dish had beans and tomato paste as a sauce on the bottom that paired perfectly with the eggplants. It was a delicious combination. For the duck with dumplings, the duck was really good. It was a signature dish at their restaurant. However, those ingredients on the side threw me off because I have never tasted anything like it, for me, it was just dough. It was nice trying it, but I am unsure if I would like to eat it again.
Even though in the name, it says a cafe, it felt more like fine dining because of the atmosphere and the way the dishes were served to us. Just by the view, it was a memorable place for me. It was a great stop on our Czech trip.
